Healthy Aging

Foster Grandparents recruit and train foster grandparent volunteers and develops placement sites with special-needs children in southwest Idaho.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program develops meaningful volunteer opportunities for seniors that address community needs, places seniors at volunteer sites, and provides recognition and support to these volunteers.

Friends in Action  recruits and trains exceptional volunteers who (1) assist frail elders in maintaining their independence and quality of life; (2) lead educational programs for family caregivers and people living with chronic illness.

Services to Elderly Refugees links refugees 60 years and older to mainstream senior services and promotes development of capacity within local aging networks to meet the cultural and linguistic need of older refugees. Direct services include specialized English classes and assistance with naturalization for those who have been in the U.S. for five years.
