Starting Points for Idaho Youth is a federally funded HRSA Healthy Tomorrows Project that targets reaching and enrolling uninsured, low-income youth in five rural and frontier Idaho counties. Nutrition Works is a sponsoring organization for the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in Idaho that provides food reimbursement money and nutrition training for licensed family child care providers and child care centers.  Project Director Barbara Wilson 336-5533 xt 280

Early Head Start provides comprehensive health, social and educational services for infants, toddlers, and their families through family-centered and community-based efforts in Bonner and Kootenai Counties in north Idaho.  Project Director Chriss Gee 208-765-6955 xt 222  Fax: 208-664-4683

Cover Idaho Kids Project funded by The Regence Foundation, will help school nurses in 15 rural Idaho school districts enroll uninsured children and teens in the Idaho Health Plan Coverage Program (formerly called the CHIP/Medicaid).It is estimated that 27,000 Idaho children are income-eligible for this state health insurance plan.
